My Story & What I Do
My name is Richard Jackson, and my journey hasn’t been a straight path — it’s been one of learning, searching, and growing over time.
I attended my first AA meeting in 1983 at the age of 22. Since then, I’ve stayed clean and sober with God’s help, and along the way, I’ve experienced many of the same struggles that people face every day — feeling lost, overwhelmed, and searching for something more.
For years, I looked for answers in different places, including various churches, but I often left feeling more confused than before. Eventually, I turned to the Bible and began to develop a personal approach that made sense in everyday life.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve combined the principles of the 12-step program with the guidance of the Bible. One provides direction on how to live, and the other gives practical tools to help you get through each day.
I also believe people shouldn’t have to pay just to talk to someone — especially when they’re already going through a difficult time. That’s why I offer free one-on-one coaching sessions. The book helps support this work so I can continue being available to others who need someone to listen. If you’re struggling, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here.
